We build our KTL systems with well-known components. Our plants contain all needed units, which are needed for the safe and effective function:

UF-module, seal water system

Task of the ultra filtration is to make rinsing liquid (UF) from the KTL paint; so the paint saving and recycling can be ensured. A further function of the UF-plant is that the paint tank shall be filtered continuously. The whole delivery volume of the UF-pump will be led through a special filter, which has been installed in front of the UF-modules. The created clean filtrate will be led to an adapter tank, and it will deliver the water seal equipment being needed for the circulation pump too. Within the KTL-equipment a water sealing is required by the pumps, in order to maintain the function of the double-effect slide ring seals having been built there.

KTL chiller system

In order to create an appropriate coating, the paint shall be maintained on a steady temperature. Depending on a given paint type and parts, this is variable. To avoid high temperatures above the limit (adjusted temperature +/- 0,5 oC), it is needed to cool down or to heat the paint. This means there are plate heat exchangers built into the circulation system of the EC tank. The part-stream of the circulated paint will be circulated steadily through the cooler and the paint will remain within the allowable temperature limits.

Dialysis system (anode cells)

In the course of the coating some acid will escape, by which the pH - value of the paint bath will be modified.  For the compensation of this some dialysis cells will be built into the dip-painting tank which will be rinsed continuously with DI water. The dialysis cells are built and fixed on both longitudinal sides of the KTL-tank in a manner where the membranes of the cells are covered by the water. Anodes are built into the dialysis cells. These serve as a counter potential of the parts in the course of the coating.

KTL swinging system

For our KTL plants we recommend our proven swinging and material moving systems. The swinging system is suitable for parts with special forms. Main reason to apply swinging constructions is to avoid air bubbles inside the object and to receive this way a smooth paint layer.

Power generator

The KTL paint has to be circulated continuously. The needed energy for the circulation has to be ensured in case of power failure through the emergency power generator.

Rectifier and automated paint dosing

The direct current for the dip painting is produced by means of rectifier. Task is the dosing of KTL additives (pigment paste and binding material), which we plan according to the requirements of the paint supplier.
